I Have A Samsung Flat Screen Tv And The Melody Plays When Turning On And Off.?
I found the setting in the set up mode and turned it off. It took and when I turned it off sound was gone, but guess what, as soon as it went back on it reset and the melody was back to medium. I want this off as I use this in the bedroom and don’t want a sound to turn it on.

My ATI video card has an S-VIDEO port & uses a cable to run to the S-VIDEO port on the back of the TV. You have to download & install a CATALYST CONTROL CENTER program from ATIs web site & set it up from there. I am sure NVIDIA has the same deal. Your TV becomes your montor & you can even watch TV on your computer. Just make sure both your TV & video card has the S-VIDEO plug, most newer models do.

I just bought a new Samsung 650 52″ LCD flat screen tv at Best Buy and the salesman at the store said after about a month it would need to be calibrated. I had bought a Sony 40″ LCD flat screen a couple of years ago and it had never come up. Is this something new?
They want to charge me about $300.00 and I don’t know if that is a good price or not. Also how do I know if the technician is qualified to do this type of work.

Why Is My New Lcd Flat Panel Tv Fuzzy No Matter What I Do?
I just purchased a new samsung lcd tv, and the picture is fuzzy even when using a dvd player. I have tried composite, component, s, and hdmi connections. I have also tried to hook up a playstation 3 using an hdmi connection, and according to the salesperson, the picture should be crystal clear with the ps3’s blue ray technology. I am an aircraft mechanic and an engineering student, so I have no trouble rigging up electronics. The Picture is just absolutely crappy with zero change regardless of the connection that I use. The tv is also supposed to have an atsc tuner built in. Is it at all possible that the picture is so lousy beacause the tv is a 720p? Once again, I was told by the salespeople that 720 is still high def, and the picture should be wonderful. Any insight you could offer me would be great! The tv model # from samsung is LN-S4041D. Any help you all can offer would be greatly appreciated. If you need to go intogreta detail about what is wrong, I will post my email.
Samsung Big Flat-screen Tv Constantly Turning Off By Itself While We Are Watching- What Could Cause This?
Sometimes we will be watching and it will just turn off once. Other times it will continue to turn off like 5 times and then be fine until hours later or the next day. I can’t figure it out. There are no timers set or anything like that and nothing seems wrong with the colors or picture. What could this be?

I didn’t get an information booklet with my tv. Only a cloth that you wet 4 or 5 times to clean the cabinet Nothing about how to clean to screen itself.. I have Parrots and that black screen just sucks up the dander. Any info would be helpful I don’t want to damage it.
