What’s The Secret To Keeping Long Distance Relationships Alive?
my boyfriend & i had been going steady for 7 months now. we’re sooo inlove with each other. problem is, i left for college & there’s no assurance that i can visit him even once a year. another problem is, our relationship is prohibited by my parents because “i’m too young & i should focus more on my studies”. hello? i’m 17!
when he calls on the phone, i have to hide in the bathroom so no one can hear us. i have to turn off my mobile phone whenever i’m busy so my folks won’t be able to read my my boyfriend’s messages.
i really wanna see him. they say i should finish my studies first, which is correct but is it my fault if i miss him sooo much? he can’t visit me too because his parents won’t allow him to go this far from home (but our relationship’s pkay with them). we both miss each other terribly.
How Do I Keep My Long-distance Relationship Alive?
I have been in this relationship for over two months now; he lives in Canada and I live in the USA, so we are about 500 miles apart. He’s coming down to visit me for about 5 days in July. Unfortunately we’re very limited during the majority of the year; we will be seeing one another for about 1 week every two months, and then I will have mid-May through late August living with him. This will be the case for the next 4 years (since he lives and works in Canada and I am going to college in NYC).
What sort of little things can I do to keep things going? We email often, and talk on the phone every day. We send e-cards sometimes. What other little things can we do to keep the relationship strong and just keep it from feeling strained?

How Do You Keep A Long Distance Relationship Alive?
My boyfriend and I have been together for more than two years. I’m moving to the Philippines for college, which is THOUSANDS of miles away from home. I’ll only be able to come back to NJ about once a year, and he’ll only be able to visit me about once a year. :[
I'm really serious about our relationship AND my education. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make things work out, or know any websites that can offer tips and advice?
Thanks. :]
