Long Distance Relationship? Are They Successful?

Ok, I live about an hour drive away from this girl. We are both 19 years old and have busy lives. I met her at a party where she lives and we hit it off, and then I went to another party where she lives and I invited her and had a great time.
Since the two parties I have gone up and hung out with her on two separate occasions. It seems like we really have a strong connection. I know she has some kind of feelings for me and I know I am starting to having some feelings for her. We have not talked about a relationship.
If we dated we could probably only hang out 1-2 maybe 3 days a week until summer.
So my question is…
Should I try to make a long distance relationship work (1 hour drive)? Or since I am in college should I just look for girls around here… not having much luck… (Lots of annoying party girls around here… good for one night, but can’t have a conversation with them for more than 5 minutes)

If your really looking for a relationship then you should go for it an hours drive is notthing compared to me and my gf we live on opposite sides of the country and we’re both still in high school (at least for the next 4 months anyway). If you really like her go for it.

Long distance? A one-hour drive? My fiancĂ© and I are a 7 hour flight apart, and can only see each other 1, 2, maybe three times a semester – and we’re in college, too. Grad school, actually, and I have three kids.
Hmm, if you consider your situation a serious obstacle, it’s a good sign this relationship can’t be that important to you.

Man that is TOTALLY doable….Im in a long distance relationship with someone on another continent for the next year so if me and my bf can do it then you and this girl can do it….trust me….you can do it for sure and its totally worth it.
